What is a Charter Bus?

A charter bus is a bus hired for a particular group and an agreed journey or service period. The booking covers the group’s transport rather than individual tickets on a scheduled public bus route.

At Royal Plus Transport, we arrange buses with a driver for group outings, corporate events, airport transfers and other planned journeys. You provide the itinerary, and our team confirms the vehicle, schedule and quotation.

How Does a Charter Bus Booking Work?

You tell the transport provider where your group needs to go, when you want to travel and how many passengers are joining. The provider then quotes for the requested vehicle and service.

A booking may cover a one-way transfer, a return journey or an itinerary with several stops. The route, duration, waiting periods and included services should be agreed before you confirm.

When Can a Charter Bus Be Useful?

  • Corporate events: moving employees or guests between offices, hotels and venues.
  • Family gatherings: arranging shared pickup points and return journeys.
  • Sightseeing: travelling between the stops on your group’s itinerary.
  • Airport transfers: transporting passengers and their luggage to an agreed destination.
  • School outings: arranging transport around the school’s trip requirements and passenger count.

Travelling together can simplify coordination. To compare costs with several smaller vehicles, request quotations for the same route, duration and group size.

Choose the Right Vehicle Size

Chartering a vehicle does not mean every group needs a large coach. Our fleet options include smaller vehicles, minibuses and larger buses.

The 12-seater Hiace accommodates 12 passengers excluding the driver, while the 15-seater minibus option accommodates 14 passengers excluding the driver. Larger groups can discuss options including 22-seater, 26-seater, 35-seater and 50-seater vehicles.

Include accompanying adults and any guide in your passenger count. Tell us about suitcases, strollers or equipment before booking; seating capacity alone does not establish luggage space.

What Should the Quotation Include?

Check the offered vehicle, travel date, pickup and drop-off locations, booked hours and planned stops. Ask how waiting time, extra hours and itinerary changes are charged.

Our standard transport rates include the driver, fuel, Salik, parking and VAT for the booked service. A tour guide and attraction tickets are separate. Confirm the applicable quotation for your itinerary rather than assuming that every charter has the same inclusions or duration.

If particular onboard facilities are important, request confirmation for the offered vehicle. You can ask for current photos and details before deciding.
