Dubai Group Travel Packages: How to Plan Your Transport
The best travel package for a group visiting Dubai starts with a clear itinerary. Airport journeys, sightseeing days, hotel pickups and event transfers may need different booking arrangements. Listing those journeys separately makes it easier to choose suitable transport and understand the complete quotation.
This guide focuses on the transport part of your visit. Royal Plus Transport arranges passenger vehicles with a driver. Confirm exactly what your quotation includes; flights, accommodation, attraction tickets, meals and tour guides should be arranged separately unless expressly included in your agreed booking.
List every journey before choosing a package
Write down the travel dates, passenger numbers and starting and finishing addresses for each day. Include the arrival airport, hotel changes, sightseeing stops, event venues and the departure airport. Note any fixed appointments or flight times that determine the schedule.
Separate journeys where the group travels together from those where people arrive or leave at different times. This avoids requesting one large vehicle for a schedule that would work better with separate transfers. For a single journey between two agreed locations, see our point-to-point transport service.
Choose vehicles using passengers and luggage
Use the passenger count for each journey rather than the total number joining the holiday. An airport pickup may involve everyone and their suitcases, while a later outing may involve only part of the group. Share bag quantities and sizes so the team can assess the vehicle for both people and luggage.
Compare the options in our current transport fleet. For family or team journeys, the 12-seater Toyota Hiace accommodates up to 12 passengers plus the driver, with luggage suitability checked separately. Larger groups can discuss a minibus or coach. Confirm child-seat or accessibility requirements before booking.
Plan airport transfers as separate journeys
For an arrival, provide the airport, terminal, flight number and scheduled landing time. Confirm the meeting point, contact arrangements and waiting allowance. If guests arrive on several flights, list each flight and passenger count so the transport plan can reflect those differences.
For the departure, share the hotel address and airline check-in requirements, then agree the pickup time. A one-way arrival booking does not automatically include the return transfer. Our airport transfer planning guide explains the information to prepare.
Use a realistic sightseeing itinerary
For a sightseeing day, list the places you want to visit and the time you expect to spend at each. Include boarding, road travel, meal breaks and the return journey within the proposed schedule. Check attraction opening times and ticket arrangements before fixing the transport itinerary.
Discuss the plan through our Dubai and Abu Dhabi city-tour service. Confirm whether the booking is for a full-day allowance or specific transfers, and how additional time is charged. Avoid treating a list of attractions as confirmation that every stop fits into one day.
Compare quotations on the same basis
Ask for a quote using the exact dates, route, vehicle size and booked hours. Compare the same itinerary across options. A low price for a single transfer cannot be compared directly with a full-day vehicle booking or several days of transport.
Check driver, fuel, Salik, parking and VAT inclusions for the selected service. Ask about extra hours, waiting, additional stops and travel between emirates. Confirm the total for all required journeys and whether any items are payable separately. For arrangements over several dates, discuss short- and long-term bus rental options.
Agree the terms before finalising
Confirm availability, the proposed vehicle, payment arrangements and cancellation or rescheduling terms. Explain any essential vehicle features in advance rather than assuming every vehicle has the same amenities. Early-morning or late-night journeys should be arranged ahead of time and remain subject to availability.
Nominate an organiser to keep the itinerary and communicate changes. Share the confirmed meeting points and times with passengers. If a flight, hotel or event changes, contact the team to confirm the revised arrangements and any effect on the price.
